Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach
|
LOCATION
|
|
Sunset
Beach is Pueblo Bonito Hotels and Resorts’ newest luxury
resort in Cabo San Lucas. This extraordinary new
development is situated on the western side of the tip of
the Baja California Peninsula, overlooking the Pacific
Ocean and a wide expanse of pristine beach. Away from the
usual concentration of hotels along the Sea of Cortez,
Sunset Beach’s fifty acre site provides a uniquely
tranquil and secluded setting for this new destination
resort.
The architecture of Pueblo Bonito
Sunset Beach features separate villas in “Old Hacienda”
style, a contemporary blend of Spanish and Mexican
influences. It was designed by the Newport Beach,
California, firm of Wimberly, Allison, Tong & Goo,
designers of many of the world’s top hotels.
As with all Pueblo Bonito Hotels and
Resorts properties, lush and innovative landscaping blends
with the unique terrain surrounding the resort. Peridian
International, also of Newport Beach, California, are the
landscapers. In addition to Pueblo Bonito, their list of
prestigious clients includes such properties as the Ritz
Carlton and Four Seasons.

FACILITIES
Facilities in the opening phase include a large pool with a
swim-up bar, a children’s pool, a gym and two lighted tennis
courts. Dining options range from fine international cuisine
with flair at LaNao Restaurant to poolside menu and bar
service around the pool..
The
name LaNao reflects the excitement and romance of an earlier
time when proud Spanish galleons bearing that name carried
riches and spices across the Pacific. Our LaNao Restaurant,
an inviting glass and marble pavilion filled with natural
sunlight, is set next to the sea just where the galleon
passed only moments before being attacked by pirate ships on
the other side of Cape San Lucas. It features an eclectic
menu that includes both Mexican and international favorites
and original creations for breakfast, lunch and dinner, from
7 am to 11 pm daily. A separate, handsomely decorated bar
adjoins the restaurant.
Upon completion Sunset Beach will
comprise 487 suites, each with an ocean view. Amenities will
include a European-style spa and fitness center, several
pools, specialty restaurants, a multiple-use salon and
meeting facilities.
When completed Sunset Beach will be the
largest and most luxurious of the Pueblo Bonito Resorts,
which include Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos and Rosé in Cabo San
Lucas, the original Pueblo Bonito in Mazatlán, and the newly
opened Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay, also in Mazatlán.
